How do students commute to and from PIEAS?
PIEAS has dedicated bus shuttle service for its students residing in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Do PIEAS provide hostel accommodation to all students?
PIEAS has seven boy’s hostels and two girl’s hostel, where accommodation is made available to almost all students whose domiciles are outside Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
When does PIEAS offer admissions?

Does PIEAS offer admissions in Spring Semester?
For BS and MS/MSc/MPhil programs, admissions are offered ONLY for Fall Semester. There is NO intake for Spring Semeser. However, PhD applicants may apply throughout the year.

Is there any age limit for Undergraduate Admission?
There is no age limit for regular fee-paying students.
I have DAE background, am I eligible?
Yes, DAE holders with 60% marks are eligible.
Are the the HSSC / FSc Pre-Medical Students elligible for in BS CIS program.
HSSC (Pre-Medical) background students are eligible for BS CIS program at PIEAS (without additional maths).
Do HSSC (Pre-Medical) students need to have additional maths paper for applying to BS CIS?
No. HSSC (Pre-Medical) students are elligible for BS CIS program without additional maths.
Can a candidate apply on the basis of SAT score?
PIEAS has reserved some seats for admission in BS programs through SAT-II (SAT Subject) scores.
Who can apply for admission, in PIEAS BS programs, on the basis of SAT-II?
All Pakistani nationals of both Matric / F.Sc. or O / A level streams are eligible to compete on the basis of SAT score. Admission shall be based on SAT II result of three subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics level II). The SAT score should be at least 2000 or more. The PIEAS institutional code to receive SAT scores is 7272.
If I have taken SAT-II Test, do I still have to sit in the Entry Test?
A student can apply for admission on the basis of SAT II scores or PIEAS entry test or both.
Can a candidate apply on the basis of SAT General score?
No. PIEAS accepts SAT-II score for undergraduate admissions.
What is the deadline for submission of SAT-II score?
SAT-II scores must be sent to Registrar, PIEAS not later than the application submission deadline mentioned in the admission schedule.

Is there any age limit for the MS / MSc admissions?
There is no age limit for regular fee paying students. However, for MS/MSc fellowships, age limit is 32 years for medical doctors and 27 years for other discipline (as on 30th Jun of the admission year).
Is there any age relaxation for candidates who exceed the upper age limit?
NO.
Is GAT/GRE required?
PIEAS conducts its own admission test; GRE is not mandatory.
Can applicants apply through both the PIEAS admission test and NTS test?
YES, however, the applications on NTS score are only considered for admission on Regular Fee Basis.
Can final-year students apply?
Yes, provided they complete degree requirements before enrollment.
What is the procedure for application for admission in PIEAS?
A candidate seeking admission in PIEAS has to apply online through a link on PIEAS Admission Portal (https://red.pieas.edu.pk/pieasadmission/lgn.aspx).
What is the processing fee for online registration for Admission?

Would the admission processing fee / security deposit be refundable in case a candidate name does not appear in the merit list?
No. Admission processing fee once deposited cannot be refunded.
